DECEMBER STAFFER OF THE MONTH
Arianna Exclusa
What about communication arts interests you, and how does that translate in your work?
Along with Seeds, I also do film, and as a business staffer, I had to also do the commercials for our fundraisers. I feel like it goes hand in hand because I can take skills I'm learning from film and put them into our commercials and make them more visually appealing for our school body.
What do you like most about being a part of the business section of Seeds?
I would say the workload because it's not too much but it's not like I'm not doing anything. I'm still putting in my work, but I still have time to also take a little breather and then go back to whatever I need to do. I have leniency with my workload, which I find very nice because I don't like having heavy workloads on top of schoolwork
What do you enjoy most about being in Seeds?
What I enjoy most about being in Seeds is that it's a very small environment, so you can connect with everyone. I enjoy how everyone is really passionate about what they do in their sections. You can always come to any member from any section about stuff for help or just in general.
What are some goals that you're proud of accomplishing in Seeds?
I'm proud of accomplishing the Boo Grams fundraiser because it was a really big fundraiser, and I had to do a lot of inputting of names. I'm really proud that, in the end, we did get through that.
Why did you decide to join Seeds?
I joined Seeds because it really intrigued me with how it’s such a small class. It's only one class period compared to the other publications. It's just better, in my opinion, to be in a smaller environment, and the publication itself looked more appealing to me.
