River
I made this in Photoshop after a training at school. One of my favorite songs has a cover that looks similar to this, so I figured I could make something similar with what I'd just learned. It was a silly project, but it was fun learning to use Photoshop.

Sky Falling Over Me
The waves crash onto the shore as the snow shimmers in the sand.
The seashells pinch my feet, pleading me to leave.
The tweets of the birds interfere with my thoughts as I stand.
Not allowing me to feel, to grieve.
Now you're a spark as the sky falls down over me.
My thoughts circulate through my blood as I feel my own veins popping out of me.
Your pinky twisted around mine as you said you wouldn’t go.
But now I feel the absence of the one you once filled, you’re finally free.
I hear you when I speak.
I see you when I look in the mirror.
I see you in me
I forever will see you in me
But where are you?
You left but never came back.
My tears flush out the color of my skin,
The color you were with your eyes closed and skin cold.
And I'll wait for the day I can meet you again.
I will grieve you longer than I got to be your daughter.
I will love you always and forever.
And maybe, the spark in the sky will remind me that you are part of the water.
