Taken at Lake Kawaguchiko, a town at the base of Mt. Fuji. In this image, I wanted to capture the simplicity and tranquility of the scenery while highlighting the beauty of nature. The photograph reflects my appreciation for the towns aesthetic and the calm that comes from experiencing a sight like Mt. Fuji.

This piece was a gift for my mother’s birthday, her favorite animal is an owl. Owls inspire me because of their symbolism for wisdom. My mother also reminds me of an owl, so owls represent a form of guardian. The owl is my guardian.
