peacefulness of a village where both mythical animals and human villagers lived together and got along well. I was inspired by researching Asian architecture as well as the amount of detail placed into the shapes and textures, and I put that into a landscape full of them. Overall, I wanted to use India ink, a dipping ink pen, to go into the details so that the audience could get a closer look at everything around them and so that Chinese culture would be more strongly expressed.
