Birdie

Felicite Lehel ‘26

This work is about my twin sister, Birdie, and how our relationship as twins has affected our lives and outcomes. Although, in the past, we have been mixed up countless times, I have noticed a subtle decrease of this as we have grown older. I wanted to represent this division through art as well as my love for her and her nickname.

Chadwick Boseman

Designing this was about honoring and celebrating Chadwick Boseman’s accomplishments through creativity and respect for his legacy. This is significant to me because it represents the strength that Africans have, no matter the obstacle put in front of them. To see Boseman, in media, be such a monumental figure for so many young African children makes his passing even more memorable, and honoring the impact he has made is important.
